CHANEL | Coco Country Tote

This Chanel Coco Country Tote (often referred to by collectors as the Chanel Basket Fringe Tote), a highly distinct and artistic piece from the Spring/Summer 2010 Collection  designed during the iconic era of Karl Lagerfeld. This bag is meticulously structured from heavy woven rustic cord or thick raffia in a warm, dark beige/tan shade. The bottom of the tote features an integrated, chunky braided-rope border that gives it a unique basket-like dimension. It is equipped with sturdy, thick top handles crafted from interwoven black lambskin leather and dark ruthenium or brushed gold-tone chain metal.  The defining centerpiece is an oversized, dangling interlocking "CC" logo charm suspended from a fine chain. Uniquely, the CC logo is wrapped in a signature frayed monochrome tweed pattern (black, ecru, and white), blending Chanel's core DNA with countryside aesthetics . Runway-heavy lifestyle pieces like the Coco Country Tote were produced in much smaller quantities for a single season and never reissued so this considered rare and highly collectible.
