CHANEL | Graffiti Crocodile-Embossed Reissue 2.55 Mini Flap Bag

This  CHANEL Graffiti Crocodile-Embossed Reissue 2.55 Mini flap is a highly coveted limited edition release from the 2019 "Paris-New York" Métiers d’Art Collection (often referred to by collectors as the 19A collection) .The collection was designed by Karl Lagerfeld as a tribute to ancient Egypt and modern metropolitan streets, showcasing some of his very final designs for the house before his passing.  This is a true 2.55 Reissue model featuring the distinct all-metal Bijoux chain strap and the squared Mademoiselle turn-lock closure (unlike the "CC" logos found on standard Classic Flaps).Despite its highly detailed appearance, the bag is crafted from durable calfskin leather that has been meticulously stamped/embossed to mimic exotic crocodile scales. The body features an overlaid, street-art-style graffiti print showcasing hand-drawn Chanel logos, camellia flowers, and whimsical text overlaying the croc ridges.  It is outfitted with heavy, brushed aged gold hardware (AGHW) which blends into the street-art aesthetics of the text. Because this piece was part of the 2019 Métiers d’Art capsule, production numbers were strictly limited, this is single-season releases and this graphic style was never repeated or brought back into production.
